While there are lots of possible routes from
Los Angeles
to Chicago, one of the best ones is as follows:- On your first day, drive to Las Vegas, Nevada. Take some time to explore while you’re there, especially since this is a relatively low mileage day.
- The next day, you’ll drive to Zion National Park. Stay for a while, then drive on to Arches National Park to spend the night.
- From Arches, drive on to Vail Ski Resort. This is another low mileage day, so if you’re feeling up to it, you can ski before you turn in for the night!
- On day four, drive toOmaha, Nebraska. This will be your highest mileage day, so be sure to take breaks along the way!
