What's better: a car warranty's roadside assistance or a separate plan?

“The best way to determine if you need an additional roadside assistance plan is to look at your current benefits. Every plan differs, so you may find that your car’s warranty plan is lacking a service you may need.
For example, Honda’s towing service will tow your vehicle to the nearest Honda dealership. They have additional benefits as well. This includes lockout service, flat tire repair, and trip interruption.
However, Honda’s roadside assistance program is only good for 3 years. They also don’t have an app to request service; you’re required to call them directly.
Most
car insurance
carriers charge a reasonable fee for roadside assistance. You’ll normally be able to add it to your policy for around $25 a term. If you think you’ll need more benefits and can afford it, there’s no harm in adding additional roadside assistance to your car insurance.”
