What year was the first Hyundai Tucson GLS?
When did Hyundai start making the Tucson GLS? I feel like the Tucson has looked the same in every model year, so I’m curious about what the original model looked like.

The first
Hyundai Tucson GLS
model was unveiled in 2004. Since then, the vehicle was put through some fairly significant cosmetic changes in 2009, when Hyundai began producing the Tucson Second Generation.Before this 2009 style revamp, the Tucson GLS looked pretty different from its modern appearance. After 2009, however, the appearance of the vehicle didn’t change very much. Cars from the third generation—2015 and onward—do differ in appearance somewhat, mostly in terms of their grill and headlight shape, but overall the vehicle still looks very similar to its 2009 design.
