was released in 2003 as part of the first generation. And fun fact—the X5 was actually the very first SUV ever produced by BMW! The 2003 BMW X5 is a midsize luxury crossover SUV that comes in three trims: 3.0i, 4.4i, and 4.6is. But since you’re considering the 3.0i trim, we’ll take a closer look at this sporty SUV.
The X5 3.0i comes equipped with a robust 3.0-liter DOHC inline 6-cylinder engine that boasts 225 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque.
The original BMW X5 3.0i comes standard with all-wheel drive and two transmission options, either a five-speed manual or a Steptronic five-speed automatic that can also be shifted manually.
