“By faking your school transcript to receive a discount with your
car insurance
company you are committing insurance fraud. While it may not seem like a big deal, when you submit an application for insurance you are guaranteeing that the information you have provided the company is true to the best of your knowledge. By falsifying that information, you could face serious consequences.
Beyond cancellation of your insurance or a denial of a claim, you could also face jail time or fines.
If you’re truly concerned about your rate increase, you should start shopping around now. You may be able to find a rate with another company that is similar to your current, discounted rate.”
