What would be the cheapest car insurance for my 22-year-old daughter?
How can I lower the cost of car insurance for my daughter? She has a clean driving record, but we are being quoted around $4,000 for an annual policy. The vehicle isn’t even worth that much. Why is insurance so expensive for her?

.Even with a clean record, younger drivers face higher rates. This is because insurance companies classify them as higher risk and anticipate them making claims.
The cheapest way to insure young drivers is to add them to an established driver’s existing policy (e.g., their parents’ plan). If you add your daughter to your car insurance, it will cause your premium to increase, but it’s usually much less than it would cost your daughter to purchase her own policy.
