What will happen to classic cars when we go electric?
I bought my car two years ago and am very pleased with it. Even though I know I'll have to get an EV eventually, I still decided to buy a classic car. Do you know what will happen to classic vehicles when we go electric?

Great question. Most of the US population drives traditional gas-powered and classic vehicles. By 2035, many governments will stop the sale of
electric cars
and, years after, will eventually issue a ban. In short, they’ll be grandfathered. These rules apply to the general population and vehicles used for daily travel. It’s very unlikely that classic cars will be banned outright.
This means that people who can get creative in restoring, insuring, and fueling their classic cars will be unbothered. But they will lose the infrastructure used to support traditional vehicles.
