Can I get in trouble if I don’t disclose to my new insurance company that I have multiple speeding tickets?

Will my policy be affected if I don’t make them aware of speeding tickets? I just switched insurance carriers but have not informed them of the two speeding tickets I just recieved.

“When applying for new insurance quotes, you are free to answer any questions about your driving history however you like.
You can choose not to tell your insurance company about your driving record, but don’t be surprised if your new carrier finds out.
When a new insurance policy is put into place, insurance agents often check a driver’s MVR (Motor Vehicle Report), which allows them to see if you have any speeding tickets or traffic violations on your
driving record
that they were not previously aware of.
If they realized you haven’t been honest about your traffic violations, they may refuse to extend your policy, or, more likely, they’ll increase the cost of your
car insurance
to a higher amount than you originally started with.
At the end of the day, it generally doesn’t pay to lie about your driving record when applying for new insurance carriers, since your new insurance agent will either discover your falsehoods before your policy is put into place, or if you go to file a claim.”
