uses full synthetic oil with an SAE 0W-20 viscosity. Whether your Altima has a 4-cylinder or a V6 engine, you’ll need about 4.9 quarts of oil and a new filter.Here are some other materials you’ll need to successfully perform an oil change:
- Rags or cloths to wipe up any spills
- Tools, including a wrench set and mallet
- Safety glasses
- Oil filter gasket
- A container to drain the old oil into
- Funnel
- Oil pan
