My parents gave me their old 2001 Honda Civic for my first car. I’ve been having a great time riding around in it for the past few months, but now that the weather is becoming colder and wetter, I’m struggling to see through the windshield. I’m taking it as a sign that I need to change the windshield wipers. How can I change the windshield wipers on a 2001 Honda Civic?

is a great, reliable car that can take just about anything a new driver can dish out. To change the wipers on your Civic, just follow these simple steps:
- Buy the appropriate-sized windshield wipers. Look in your owner’s manual to find out the proper size.
- Position your wipers midway across your windshield by turning them on and off again.
- Lift your wipers away from your windshield.
- Releasing the hook attachment at the base of the wiper blades to remove them. Remove and replace one blade at a time to avoid putting your bladers on the wrong sides.
- Install your new blades by pushing the end of the arm through the hole on the adapter and pushing the blade in until it clicks.
- Lower your wipers back to the windshield and test them before discarding the old wipers and packaging.
