What size are the Volvo OEM tires?
I recently got a flat tire, and think that I might as well take this opportunity to change out my tires like I’ve wanted to for the last year or so. I noticed that tires come in different sizes, and want to make sure I’m getting the right tire size. What size are the Volvo OEM tires?

Good on you for doing your research—and sorry to hear about your flat tire, that’s always a pain to deal with. However, the first thing to remember is that the size of your Volvo’s tires are going to vary depending on its model and year.
Since Volvo is constantly coming out with new models with different specifications and improvements, it’s likely that your tire size will change depending on what model and year you have purchased. Here are a couple of examples of what you should expect:
- 2021 Volvo XC90 T6 R-Design: Front (275/45R20), Rear (275/35R22)
- 2021 Volvo XC40 Recharge: Front (235/50R19), Rear (255/45R19)
- 2020 Volvo XC60 T8 Polestar: Front (255/40R21), Rear (265/35R22)
