Sorry to hear that you lost your Tesla key card! The good news is that Tesla makes the process of getting a new one relatively painless.
If you lost your Tesla key card, follow these steps:
- Open the Tesla app on your phone.
- You should still be able to unlock and drive the vehicle by using the app.
- Once you get back home, schedule an appointment with your local Tesla dealer if you don’t have a spare key card. This is the only way to get a new set if you lost both.
- If you still have one card, you can order a new one online or at a service center for an average cost of $35, although this cost may vary depending on where you live.
