What qualifies a campervan as an RV?

Would it still be considered an RV for insurance purposes? I have sleeping space and storage shelves in my renovated van, but no running water or working stove.

“A campervan is generally considered an RV if it has livable space and can be driven and moved from place to place.
In this sense, even though your campervan doesn’t provide all the amenities of a full-sized RV, it’s still classified as one for
car insurance
purposes.
Most campervans fall under the class B motorhome category. You might want to consider a policy that covers your stored items in addition to your driving.
