What kind of oil does a 2007 Ford Edge take?

I need some information to help with changing the oil in my vehicle. Can you tell me what kind of oil a 2007 Ford Edge takes?

You bet! I’d be happy to tell you what kind of oil a 2007
Ford Edge
takes.
Basically, it will depend on the type of engine you have:
  • If you have a 2.0L EcoBoost engine, your Edge takes six quarts of 5W-30 motor oil
  • If you have a 3.5L or 3.7L engine, your Edge takes five quarts of 5W-20 motor oil You should change the oil in your vehicle every 5,000 miles or six months, whichever comes first. Remember: it’s always better to run with slightly less oil than too much, as excess oil can cause damage to the engine seal.
While you’re working on your vehicle, why not take some time to update your
car insurance
policy?
