What is Toyota’s bumper-to-bumper warranty?

I’m gearing up to buy a new car, and I’ve narrowed down the makes I want to look at. I think I’m leaning towards Toyota, but first I want to make sure they have a good warranty for new vehicles. What is the bumper-to-bumper warranty for a Toyota?

There’s a reason why Toyota is a leader in the automotive industry, but it’s not exactly their warranty. Toyota’s bumper-to-bumper warranty is about as short as it gets with a limit of three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.
The 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty covers virtually every part of your car from defects that can be traced back to a manufacturer or material error. Toyota’s bumper-to-bumper warranty does not include parts that would normally face defects from natural wear and tear, including the following:
  • Brake components
  • Windshield wipers
  • Tires
  • Air filters
  • Oil filters
  • Lightbulbs
A car warranty can only get you so far, so it’s a good idea to keep an emergency fund to handle any uncovered repairs for your brand-new car. The
