Like all new Toyota vehicles, the warranty on a Toyota Camry includes a 3-year, 36,000-mile basic bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 5-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty. The basic warranty protects almost every component of your vehicle, while the powertrain warranty covers the engine, transmission, drivetrain, and related components.
However, the warranty only takes effect if something breaks or needs repair due to a manufacturer defect. General wear and tear and maintenance are not covered under these warranties.
That said, the Toyota Camry comes with a 2-year, 25,000-mile ToyotaCare plan. This pays for scheduled maintenance for the specified timeframe, which includes things like tire rotations and oil changes.
