A family at my church is welcoming another child into their family, so they want to upgrade to a new car. As a result, they want to sell their 2017 Chrysler Pacifica—it seems like a good price, but I want to make sure I can still get the warranty. What is the warranty on a Chrysler Pacifica from 2017?

It’s good to check on the warranty before you decide to buy a used car! The warranty on a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica includes two different parts: a powertrain warranty and a basic warranty.
However, these warranties may have already timed out if the original owners bought the Pacifica in 2017. The three-year, 36,000-mile basic warranty is essentially a bumper-to-bumper warranty, covering almost every part of the vehicle. On top of that, the minivan also gets a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty that covers the engine, transmission, drivetrain, and anything else related to the drivability of the vehicle.
