While the rate of battery degradation depends on a number of factors, the Tesla Model X’s battery degradation rate is generally accepted to be a loss of 10% to 15% charge capacity within the first eight years or 150,000 to 200,000 miles.
Essentially, this means you can expect a 1.25% - 1.87% drop in battery capacity each year, which is actually considered to be quite low when compared to all other electric vehicles.
