What is the Nevada electric vehicle rebate?

I’m looking to go green, so I think I’m going to buy an electric vehicle as my next car. I live in Nevada, and I thought I’d find out if the state has any incentives to buy an electric car. Does Nevada have an electric vehicle rebate?

If you’re looking to go green,
Nevada
has options. While the state itself doesn’t offer an electric vehicle rebate, qualified customers can get a $2,500 rebate toward the price of a new or used electric vehicle through Nevada Energy—the state’s public utility company, which is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.
To qualify for the $2,500 rebate, you must meet certain income restrictions. This restriction is that your family household income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty line. As of 2022, you could get the rebate if your income is $29,640 or less.
If you decide to buy an EV (with or without the rebate), make sure to protect your new investment by shopping for a car insurance policy with the
