What is the Honda CRV oil type?

When I bought my Honda CRV, the dealership offered free oil changes for a year. Now that the year is up, I think I’m going to change the oil on my own. What type of oil do I need for a Honda CRV?

Falling in trend with almost every modern Japanese vehicle on the market, the
Honda CRV
’s oil type is 0W-20. While this motor oil has only gained popularity in the last decade or so, it ensures that the engine runs smoothly at frigid temperatures and higher speeds.
If your Honda CRV has a 2.4-liter four-cylinder, you’re going to need 3.7 quarts of motor oil. If your Honda CRV has a 1.5-liter turbo-four, you need to buy at least 4.4 quarts of motor oil to do a proper oil change.
While free oil changes are always a nice perk of buying a new car, don’t forget about the money you can save by shopping around for car insurance with the
