Audi makes vehicles that flawlessly combine luxury with performance—and their SUVs are a perfect example. The fastest Audi SUV is the Audi RS Q8, reaching zero to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds—only 0.1 seconds behind the significantly more expensive Urus. Although part of the Audi family, the RS Q8 has the same underpinnings as the Lamborghini Urus and offers a similarly-equipped twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine. The 591 hp engine is paired with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed automatic, but it also has a 48-volt hybrid system to improve fuel efficiency.
But don’t expect fuel economy to be good on this speed demon. It gets an EPA-estimated fuel economy of a dismal 13 mpg city and 19 mpg highway.
