What is the difference between Jeep JK and JL?
My mom is selling me her Jeep Wrangler, and she keeps saying it’s such a steal because it’s the JL and not the JK. I have no idea what those names even refer to. What’s the difference?

That’s a great question! Names of cars can be confusing—especially when they start having these elaborate tags at the end that supposedly refer to different varieties.
The difference between
Jeep
JK and JL is that they refer to different generations of the Jeep Wrangler. Unlike trim levels of the Wrangler—such as Sport, Unlimited, and X—the Wrangler JK and Wrangler JL refer to different Wrangler models entirely. The Jeep Wrangler (JK) is the third generation of the Jeep Wrangler. Here are some key features of the Wrangler (JK):
