What is the curfew for teen drivers in New York?

I am about to start my first job now that I’m 16, but I have some concerns about how late I can work. Is there a driving curfew for teens in New York?

Getting your license is a milestone, congrats! The curfew for teen drivers in
New York
is from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Keep in mind that this curfew applies to minor teens who are driving alone. Teens who are in the presence of a guardian or parent can drive while the curfew is in effect.
New York’s 16- and 17-year-old drivers are required by law to carry a junior license, more commonly known as a
provisional driver’s license
. In addition to abiding by the curfew, junior license holders are not allowed to drive in New York City.
Underage
teens
may be permitted to drive during curfew for school or work but must drive home right after.
Restrictive licenses for young teens are a safety measure, just like
car insurance
