What is the curfew for teen drivers in Massachusetts?
I live in Boston with my family and my son is about ready to get his license. However, I’m not exactly keen on him driving around Boston on his own, especially at night. Does Massachusetts have a curfew for teen drivers?

Boston has some of the heaviest traffic of any city in the U.S.—so it’s natural to be worried. However, the state tries to keep young drivers safe by implementing a curfew until a driver is 18 years of age.
The curfew for teen drivers in
Massachusetts
is from midnight to 5 a.m. In addition, Massachusetts law says teen drivers cannot have any passengers in the car under 18 for the first six months they have their license. Police officers are trained to strictly enforce both curfew and passenger laws—especially between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. and again between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m.
