I really want to get an all-wheel-drive vehicle due to the inclement weather where I live. However, I don’t have a huge budget, so the Subaru Forester is probably the best fit for my needs. What’s the best model year for a Forester?

is held in high regard by consumers and critics alike, so we think that it’s a great pick! The best years for a used model are either 2011 to 2013 or 2016 to 2019.The 2011 to 2013 models were the last three of the third generation, which included a turbo engine, available leather seating,
five-star safety ratings
, and top-notch reviews.The 2016 to 2019 models are interesting because they span two generations. The fourth-generation Subaru was made from 2014 to 2018, and the major upgrade was with passenger and driver comfort. These models also included a manual transmission and a premium audio system.
The 2019 model is also highly prized, as it has modern infotainment features, improved advanced safety specs—including crash mitigation systems—better handling, and one of the best safety systems on the road today.
