What is the best RV route from Buffalo, WY to Cody, WY?
My wife and I just got an RV and we are itching to take it for a spin! We’re thinking of taking the kids to Cody, Wyoming to see the Buffalo Bill State Park. What’s the best route there for RVs?
is via I-90 W and US-14 W. The trip is a scenic one and will take about 3 1/2 hours!
Here are the trip details broken down in a bit more detail:
Start on I-90 W and continue for about 50 miles.
Next, turn left onto US-14 W and stay on this for about 80 miles.
To finish up, turn right onto US-14 W/US-16 W/US-20 W for about 53 miles.
You’ll cross over the Big Horn Range, reach 9,000 ft of elevation on Granite Pass, and traverse green hillsides covered in daisies—it’s a beautiful drive!
