How much is a driving record in California?
I just got my second speeding ticket in a year and a half and I’m not sure where I’m at points-wise on my driving record. I’d like to confirm how many points I have because I’m getting worried about a looming license suspension. How much does it cost to get a copy of your California driving record?

A glance at your driving record is a worthwhile investment! A driving record in California will cost $2 if you check online—you’ll need to create an account on the DMV website in order to request your driving record. You can print out a copy of your driving record once you pay the fee.
If you prefer to request your driving record in person, simply head to the closest California DMV office to get access to a copy. An in-person request will cost $5.
To get an official copy of your driving record you must put the request in by mail. The official request form can be printed from the DMV website. After you fill out the form, you can mail it with a $5 check or money order enclosed and your request will be processed.
