It’s always been a dream of mine to visit Yellowstone National Park. I’m not getting any younger, so I figure it’s now or never. What’s the best route to take from Seattle?

Seattle
to Yellowstone is to take I-90 E most of the way, and then finish up on US-89 S. The trip will take approximately 12 ½ hours.That’s quite a long journey, so we recommend breaking up the trip with stops!
- Consider stopping inSpokane, Washingtonand visiting the nearby Riverside and Mount Spokane state parks.
- Then, while inMissoula, Montana, make a detour toward Nez Perce and visit Clearwater National Forest or Flathead Lake.
