What is the average front end collision repair cost?

I was recently in a minor accident. I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth filing a claim to get insurance to help cover the cost of repairs or if I should just pay out of pocket. What is the average front end collision repair cost?

So sorry to hear about your accident! It can cost between $500 and $5,000 to repair damage from a front-end collision.
That’s a wide range, isn’t it? The price you pay will depend on how extensive the damage was and what type of vehicle you drive. For instance, a small dent in the bumper on a
Honda
Civic is far easier to repair than a crunched transmission on a
BMW
.
In general, it’s always a
good idea
to
file a claim
with your car insurance company even if the repair cost is less than your deductible.
Finally, remember that you have a
limited window
to file a claim.
Hope you get the repairs taken care of soon!
Depending on your experience with your
car insurance
company, you may be interested in looking for a new policy. Plus, sometimes rates go up after filing a claim, so looking for a new policy with another company will save you money. Insurance broker
Jerry
can help you navigate this process.
Good luck!
