What is Mazda blind spot monitoring?

Although I was never a fan of Mazda in the past, its latest models look great. They also have top-notch safety ratings thanks to a host of advanced safety features. The only one that I can’t seem to find answers about is the blind spot system. What exactly is Mazda’s blind spot monitoring system?

It’s good that you’re doing some research! Whether you opt for a
Mazda CX-9
or a Mazda3, you’ll have access to Mazda’s Active Safety System. While this system has many different features, blind spot monitoring is an advanced safety tech that uses radars to detect cars approaching or in your blind spot.
Once the system detects a vehicle, it alerts you with visual cues located near the side mirror. Remember that this system is supplemental and shouldn’t be relied on exclusively. Always look over your shoulder before you back up or change lanes to avoid a collision.
With a blind spot monitor, you can get a little extra peace of mind. But if you want a bit of solace for your wallet, make sure to use the
