What is Louisiana’s highest speed limit?

Where is the highest speed limit in Louisiana? I love driving fast but I already have a couple of speeding tickets on my record, so I’d like to avoid getting more if possible.

Louisiana
has a maximum speed limit of 75 mph. More accurately, the maximum speed limits in Louisiana look like this:
  • 75 mph on rural interstates
  • 70 mph on urban interstates and other limited-access roads
  • 65 mph on all other roads
The minimum fine for speeding in Louisiana is $115, but tickets raise to $215 if you were driving 10 to 14 mph over the speed limit. The fine raises to $240 for drivers within 15 to 20 mph above the posted limit, and you could be charged with reckless driving, too. If you’re caught driving more than 20 mph over the speed limit, the fine amount is at the discretion of the officer.
If you’ve already got some tickets on your record, it’s a good idea to update your
