What is covered in a Jeep powertrain warranty?

I’ve always wanted to own a Jeep, but I haven’t had the cash to buy one until now. Since it’s my first time buying a car, I’m not sure what to look for in terms of a warranty. What all is covered by the powertrain warranty from Jeep?

Congrats on being one step closer to buying your dream car! The Jeep powertrain warranty covers any component related to the drivability of the vehicle, including the engine, transmission, drivetrain, and other related parts. This warranty lasts for five years or 60,000 miles—whichever comes first.
However, it’s important to note that this warranty only protects against manufacturer defects and poor workmanship. It does not cover normal wear and tear and general maintenance.
On top of this warranty, every new Jeep also comes with a three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, which can provide some added peace of mind.
