What is considered normal RPM for 60mph?

I don’t know much about cars and a friend of mine told me that she was having issues with her air filter and it affected her car’s RPM. Now I’m curious to know if my car is operating normally. What is considered normal RPM for 60mph?

Believe it or not, a car’s RPM actually has less to do with your speed than you might think. RPM refers to your engine’s revolutions as you drive and has more to do with your transmission than anything else.
While there is no exact number that will tell you what is considered normal RPM for a car, if your car revs between 2,000 and 3,000 RPM, you’re considered to be within the average range.
If your RPM is drastically different from this range, you should bring your car to a mechanic and find out why. Your engine could be overworking which could lead to future problems.
No one likes having to bring their car to the mechanic, just like no one likes paying for
