I drive a lot, and with gas prices the way they are, I’m really looking for something more fuel efficient for my next car. What is a Ford Focus ST’s fuel efficiency?

A Ford Focus ST’s fuel efficiency averages about 26 miles per gallon. But, exactly how many miles you can get per gallon from your Ford changes significantly depending on the model year. Take, for example, the difference between the 2018 and 2019 Ford Focus ST fuel efficiency: the 2018 model averages 24.5 mpg, while the 2019 gets almost 34 mpg.
According to a 2020 report from the Environment Protection Agency that surveyed fuel efficiency, the overall average miles per gallon across 2020 light-duty vehicles sits at 25.7 miles per gallon. So, while a Ford Focus ST is certainly no gas guzzler, we wouldn’t exactly call it super fuel efficient either.
