What insurance carrier has the best roadside assistance plan?

"What insurance company has the best towing option? I am currently shopping around for a new carrier and all the premiums seem to be pretty close in price. I want to make sure I have towing included, but I can't tell the difference between what the companies offer."

“Almost every insurance carrier has a towing package available, so you large selection! In terms of who has the best, it depends on what matters the most to you.
If cost is your main concern,
GEICO
and
USAA
have the lowest prices. Prices can be as low as $14 a year, depending on the policy.
If you live in a remote area and would need your car towed more than five miles, USAA and GEICO both don’t have a minimum tow limit; they bring you to the closest repair shop.
The benefit to getting a stand-alone
towing coverage
is that you can get more perks than just roadside assistance. If you join AAA or Better World Club, you can get included rewards like:
  • trip planning
  • discounts on shops and travel
  • legal defense reimbursement
Don’t forget to check your wallet and see who you are using for a credit card company. Some Visa cards provide their customer with discounted rates for towing assistance, and some American Express memberships have free towing for their customers.”
