How do you open the Volvo XC60's gas tank?
I just bought a Volvo XC60 and will need to get gas soon. I don’t see any buttons or levers on the inside to open the gas tank, so how do you open the fuel door?

Getting used to a new car—even one as nice as a
Volvo XC 60
—can take some time and patience. Luckily, learning how to open the Volvo XC60’s gas tank is simple. To open the fuel door, just press the door lightly near its rear edge and it should spring right open! This won’t work, however, if your Volvo is locked. Since there’s no gas cap to worry about, you’ll want to make sure you close the fuel door securely when you’re done filling up.
Depending on which
Volvo
trim you’re driving, you may need to fill your car up with premium-grade gasoline. While premium fuel is recommended for all trims, the T6 trim requires either premium fuel or at least 91 unleaded octane. Your
Volvo XC60’s gas tank
may hold anywhere from 13.2 gallons to 18.8 gallons of fuel, depending on your model year and powertrain. No matter what you’re driving, you could cut back on your fuel costs with a few simple adjustments in your driving habits: - Avoid letting your engine idle.
