What information should I put in my cancelation letter? I want to cancel my policy with The General but they said I need to send my request in writing. I don't know what to put!
Name and policy number of new insurance provider, if applicable
Effective start date of new policy if applicable (this should be the same as the cancelation date to avoid a lapse in coverage)
