The Ford Gold warranty covers:
Engine
Transmission
Rear- or Front-wheel drive system
Steering
Brakes
Front and rear suspension
Electrical system
AC and heating
Emissions
Audio system
Safety features
When you buy a certified pre-owned Ford, it will fall under one of two categories:
Blue Certified for vehicles up to 10 years old with fewer than 120,000 miles
Gold Certified for vehicles up to 6 years old with fewer than 80,000 miles
The warranty coverage for Gold Certified vehicles is a little more extensive than the Blue Certified warranty. The Gold-status limited warranty lasts 12 months or 12,000 miles and includes limited coverage for many of Ford’s safety and infotainment tech features, as well as a roadside assistance plan.
