If you don’t fix this problem, you’ll notice sluggish acceleration and the RDX automatically switching from all-wheel drive to front-wheel drive. The good news is that it’s easy to fix. However, the part itself isn’t available from Acura. Oftentimes, they’ll try to tell you that you need a new turbocharger on your dime, which can cost upwards of $4,000 or $5,000.
The alternative is to hop on eBay and type in 2011 Acura RDX turbo. This should bring up several items called turbo variable flow eye actuator. This is the part you need. Just don’t skimp on the price. Get one in the $30 to $50 range and you should be good to go.
