There are similarities between range and MPGe, but they are significantly different.
MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent) is a measurement used to determine the fuel efficiency of an electric car or hybrid vehicle.
Created by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the MPGe was made to give buyers an idea of how much energy is consumed by each vehicle. Meanwhile, you can think of range as a ballpark number that tells you how much distance your electric car has left.
