What does Mazda’s 5-year warranty cover?

I bought a new Mazda a couple of years ago and I’m trying to understand its warranty. Is Mazda’s warranty five years or three years, and what does it cover?

We get it—warranties can be tough to keep straight!
Mazda’s
five-year warranty covers your powertrain.
All new Mazda’s come standard with a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty. This warranty covers all the mechanical parts that drive your Mazda forward, such as your engine, transmission, and axles. If any of those parts break while your car is still under warranty, Mazda will pay to have them repaired or replaced.
New Mazda’s also come with a three-year, 36,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty. This warranty covers (almost) all of the Mazda-supplied parts outside your powertrain.
Knowing your warranties can save you a lot of money on maintenance calls. If you’re looking to save even more money, use the
