Great idea! While Chevy’s standard Limited Warranty lasts three years or 36,000 miles (whichever comes first), upgrading to the Extended Limited Warranty will cover you for five years or 60,000 miles. Chevy’s Extended Limited Warranty blends the Bumper-to-Bumper warranty with the Powertrain Warranty and protects the entire vehicle when it comes to defects in materials or workmanship.
Note that you can’t purchase the extended warranty later—it’s only available when you purchase your vehicle.
Other warranties from Chevy include an Emissions Control Systems Warranty, Roadside Assistance, Corrosion Protection, Rust-Through Protection, and a free first maintenance visit. If you want to extend the factory-covered maintenance, you can purchase the Extended Factory Maintenance, which comes with three additional maintenance visits within the first two years of ownership.
