What causes a Toyota Corolla ticking noise?
I have a newer model Toyota Corolla that’s been the best commuter car I’ve ever owned — even with little upkeep. That said, it’s recently been making a strange ticking noise that drives me crazy when I’m driving or idling. What might be causing a Toyota Corolla ticking noise?

The Toyota Corolla doesn’t have any specific issues or defects that cause a ticking noise, so it could be related to a few different issues. If you’re a bit handy, you can always check a few things to see if that amends the issue:
