I’m trying to narrow down what SUV I want to buy, and I think Mercedes is at the top of my list. However, I don’t know all that much about the individual options. What are the various classes of SUVs that Mercedes offers?

Mercedes has eight different classes of SUVs, so it’s no surprise that you might find it confusing. To make matters worse, the classes are just three letters, so differentiating between them is also a bit of a challenge. Here are the different classes of Mercedes SUVs:
- GLA
- GLB
- GLC
- GLE
- GLS
- G-Class
- EQB (all-electric)
- EQS (all-electric)
These vehicles range from luxury compact SUVs (GLA, GLB, GLC, and EQB) to midsize SUVs (GLE, G-Class, and EQS) and end with one full-size option—the GLS. However, the GLS is a bit on the smaller side compared to other cars in its class.
