This trendy, centrally-located neighborhood in Little Rock features some of the city’s best dining and bar options. It’s also on the National Register of Historic Places due to its abundance of quirky and architecturally distinct homes. Dine at Canon Grill and Heights Taco and Tamale Co., and stroll through Gallery 26 for great art. This area suits singles, couples, and families alike.
The Heights:
Another area with historic homes (some dating back to the 1800s), the Heights is a pleasant Little Rock neighborhood with lots of shopping, food, and activities to offer. The Country Club of Little Rock features golf and other amenities, or if adventure is more your thing, hit the Ozark Supply Store to get outfitted for your next expedition.
Riverdale:
An urban oasis just a few miles from downtown, Riverdale is an active type’s dream. Prance along the Arkansas River Trail, gain access to some of the city’s best exercise and yoga studios, and hit the links at the Rebsamen Golf Course, the city’s biggest public course.
