Is the Kia 7-year warranty transferable?

I’m looking to upgrade to a new Kia EV, but I want to sell my current one to get more money than I would by trading it in. I just want to make sure I get all the information correct in my advertisement. Can I transfer the Kia 7-year warranty to a new owner?

Although the Kia 7-year warranty only applies to electric vehicles (EVs), it’s 100% transferable to a new owner. That should improve the resale value if you own a Soul EV or an EV6.
However, if you own a gas-powered vehicle or a hybrid, you can still transfer other warranties to a new owner at no extra charge. The second owner gets a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty—which changes from a 10-year/100,000-mile warranty regardless of age or mileage—as well as the remaining mileage or years left on the following warranties:
  • 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty
  • 5-year/100,000-mile limited anti-perforation warranty
  • 5-year/60,000-mile roadside assistance plan
If you want to save some extra cash on your next vehicle, negotiating is key. However, you can also save money by lowering your
