Is the Jeep powertrain warranty transferable?

If I buy a used Jeep that’s still protected by the powertrain warranty, will the warranty transfer into my name, or will it be voided once I buy the car?

Good news! The Jeep powertrain warranty is transferable to a second owner. You won’t have to do anything to make this happen, either, since the warranty should transfer automatically when you officially buy the vehicle.
Of course, you’ll still need
car insurance for your Jeep
, even if it’s protected under warranty. While the warranty will cover damages caused by manufacturer error or defect, your insurance will cover damage caused by accidents or natural disasters.
