Is the Chrysler extended warranty worth it?
I’m about to buy a new Chrysler and it’s really expensive. I want to make sure I take good care of it and the dealership is recommending I buy the extended warranty. However, I’m not sure if it’s necessary. Is it worth it to buy Chrysler’s extended warranty?

The extended warranty offers many benefits including offsetting pricey repair costs that may be necessary down the road. Additionally, it replaces the factory warranty to ensure you’re vehicle remains protected for several more years.
The Chrysler extended warranty is offered from Mopar, which handles customer care, parts, and service components for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. It includes everything that is offered in the factory warranty in addition to mechanical coverage post-factory warranty.
Chrysler’s two warranty options are: Maximum Care and Added Care Plus. Most find the Maximum Care coverage to be more worthwhile and extensive. It covers things like:
- Regular maintenance
- Catalytic converter
- Wear and tear items like tires, brakes, pads, and wipers
- Body and paint items
If you can stretch your budget a bit more, you won’t regret getting the extended warranty.
