Is lane splitting legal in Oklahoma?

I’m looking forward to moving to Oklahoma. I’m particularly excited to ride my motorcycle on the open roads. The only issue I’m having is that I’m not really certain what the laws are, money is tight, and I don’t want to get a ticket. Can I lane split in Oklahoma?

Lane splitting is illegal in Oklahoma. Every motorist, motorcycle or car, is entitled to the width of the lane they’re in. Driving a motorcycle in between cars in a manner consistent with lane splitting or lane filtering is illegal.
While many bikers do it anyway, lane splitting in Oklahoma may result in a citation, fine, and points on your license. The penalties vary by county or municipality, but lane splitting isn’t really worth it to save a few seconds on your ride.
