No, double parking is not a moving violation, as your vehicle must be standing still in order to double park another driver. You can certainly get ticketed and fined for double parking your car, but you won’t get
That said, there are moving violations that you can get while double-parked. If you’re obstructing traffic for example, you may be charged with a moving violation and receive license points. This charge isn’t directly related to the fact that you’re double parked, but it is a result of your poor parking job!
